Hi, my name is Jo Vistal Gibbs. I taught mostly English since 2006, when I assisted my fellow UNSW university students as Peer Assistant and helped them pass exams at UTS and helped with completing assignments as an Academic Advisor. After that, I taught primary school students as a STEAM (Art, Science, Engineering, English or Maths) tutor and never looked back. I enjoy teaching people of any age from Kindergarten to people over 65 from every backgrounds and levels of ability. Teaching is a sacred vocation in making a difference in people’s lives and for me, it is a privilege in cultivating the love of learning and wisdom. My students could not help but be swept along with me on our exhilarating inquiry and scholarship, as I endeavour to inspire leadership and owning one’s lifelong learning journey. I am delighted to be part of the GEA great team.
