Global Education Academy is excited to launch GEA scholarships. To be eligible for this scholarship, parents must demonstrate that they are experiencing financial hardship yet care deeply about their child’s education. To apply, parents must fill in all the questions below as well as provide a personal statement. We look forward to receiving your application.
Eligibility:
- from a low-income background
- experiencing financial hardship
We also take personal hardship into consideration. This includes:
- domestic violence
- personal medical conditions
What am I eligible for?
A term of maths and English group tuition in the level best suited to the child. This is a total of 4 hours per week (2 hours maths and 2 hours English).

What happens next?
We will assess your application and score it against criteria, including your:
- individual financial situation
- income
- personal circumstances
When will I know the outcome of my application?
From date of receipt of your application, please allow up to 3 weeks.
About the scholarship
GEA is a business for good. The founder, Dr Majeda Awawdeh has struggled and overcome her own personal hardships to get where she is today. Most recently, she has been awarded the Telstra Business Women’s Award for NSW Small Business. To celebrate this achievement, GEA Scholarships was born.
